The Challenge Ahead And Why We Will Do Better This Next Time

As many of you know, I am an avid reader of history. This goes back to my belief that it is better to learn from the mistakes of those who came before us, than, in our ignorance, to make those same mistakes. Life is too short for that, especially if we are serious about making the world a better place.

I have been involved with the so-called ‘Freedom Movement’ in Canada since 2020, and looking back on how the ‘movement’ formed and grew through those first few years of the Covid era, there are some interesting lessons to be learned.

I believe, based on my estimates at the time, that when Covid was launched the vast majority of people were taken completely by surprise. I would say there was only about 1% of the population that immediately recognized what was going on – and completely rejected it. Interestingly, about 90% of that 1% of people had lived under communism and had experienced tyranny first hand. They knew what was happening because they had been through it before.

Now, more than six years later, I would say that about 15% of the population are aware of what is going on, of which (I hope) about two thirds will immediately recognize the next ‘great surprise’ and will completely reject it. While 10% isn’t huge it is a lot better than the 1% that we started with. In fact, a ten fold increase is pretty impressive, especially when military strategists say that you only need about 3% of the population to seed and drive a political revolution that can result in a complete regime-change.

So, why am I telling you all this and what does this have to do with health and healthcare?

Well, many of us expect there to be another “great lockdown” coming soon. Personally I expected another pandemic hot on the heels of Covid and was closely watching as various contenders such as Monkeypox, Bird Flu and Marburg surfaced in 2023 and 2024. However, with the global ‘First World’ public completely exhausted by the whole spectre of health pandemics, it seems that lockdowns based on climate change or the energy crisis are now much more likely, and the war in Iran has dramatically accelerated the likelihood of that.

Earlier this week our friends at The Brownstone Institute sent out one of their regular emails to their subscribers and I thought it was extremely relevant to this discussion. In it they said:

“Ten years ago, the movement for medical and health freedom – the demand to get pharma out of agencies, media, universities, and professional societies – was small. It was a niche concern, seemingly idiosyncratic, with only a small group of activists and scientists. Then came the Covid response. Governments smashed businesses, churches, schools, censored the press, spent trillions they did not have, and inflated the money. It was tyranny. The idea of freedom itself was trampled nearly to death.

We know now that the power and reach of this one industry is boundless. It had crept into every nook and cranny of public, private, and commercial life. It was powerful enough to lock down 194 countries to await its product.

Today awareness has never been higher. The movement focused on medical and health freedom – profoundly aware of industry capture – is huge, learned, sophisticated, independent, passionate, focused, and backed by agile and effective institutions. It will long survive the Trump administration.

Big Pharma is in a panic. Pfizer had to abandon its Covid shot trials because it could not recruit enough people. Parents are demanding answers before they shoot their kids up with shots with a liability shield. The pressure to build a wall between industry and government has never been stronger. Nations are leaving the World Health Organization.

It is now a massive and global social and cultural movement. It cannot be stopped because such a thing is more powerful than any political structure. Plotters might believe that they can redirect energies, shut people up, throttle communication, and shame people. No more. Cannot be done.

There are strong reasons to believe that the second stage of the Great Reset is upon us, as governments around the world restrict energy use, impose price caps, and flirt with stay-at-home orders. It will be much harder this time. We know too much. We know what it means to suffer for a cause and we are ready this time.”

Yes, I believe all this to be true, and, with each incremental shift in the elections across Europe and the UK, the inevitability of a collapse of the old globalist vision gets ever closer as fundamental political realignments start taking place, accelerated by each new war, or economic crisis.

And it all comes back to the realization of the public that every terrifying crisis we have faced since Covid (and likely a long time before that) were all just planned steps to prompt us to trade our freedom for perceived ‘security.’ Unfortunately, as we have seen, there is no fair trade. When we don’t think clearly, history teaches us that we will lose both our freedom AND our security.

And that is what the ordinary, normally-obedient, working and middle-class people around the world are coming to realize.

They are seeing through the scam, and everyday more and more of them are joining the ranks of those 10 to 15% who will simply NOT participate any longer in building our own prison, be it another pandemic, digital ID, central bank digital currencies or the fact that the aliens are coming! Bring it on I say! We have nothing to fear, but fear itself, and this time there’s going to be a lot more of us on our side than there were back in 2020.
