Executive Director’s Message
What a busy week!
With the whole cartel drama in Mexico and the ongoing ‘Epstein File’ fallout there was more than usual this week to distract us from whatever they want to distract us from! Added to that, we also have had a lot going on for ourselves within Canada Health Alliance that we are busy focusing on. And, I actually think that is the best way to deal with all the external distracting drama.
We just need to focus more on the good things that are important to US.
It is actually a battle of wills. The ‘system’ (or whatever you want to call it) is doing its best to pull us down, to quash our hope and to lower our vibrational frequency. If left unchecked, this oppressive negativity will suck us into despair and resignation, and then we’ll be no good to anyone.
However, if we work on maintaining our positivity and focus on doing the right thing and building a better world, right in our own local communities and neighbourhoods, then we will actually make a difference at that all important grass-roots level. Plus, we will become beacons of hope and role models of empathy and genuine humanity, both of which seem to have been lost over these last turbulent five years.
So, to get us through all the madness screaming at us from every mainstream media headline, here are some of the positive things that CHA is putting out there:
- Our incredible SelfCare is Healthcare retreat conference that we will be hosting at the Cheakamus Centre just north of Vancouver in late April. The momentum and excitement is really beginning to build around this unique event, and with more world-class presenters wanting to get involved, the agenda is packed to the hilt and ticket sales are ramping up as we get closer to the event. If you haven’t already bought your tickets, there’s still time to do so and join us for these three incredible, life-changing days of SelfCare, education, empowerment and connection.
- Our next very informative and valuable CHA New Health Series training course will be on March 18th. It will be hosted by frontline child & youth care professional, Leah Crowell, who will be asking ‘What’s wrong with kids today?’ This training course is critical for every parent or grandparent to attend and will explore all the modern threats that kids are facing and the simple safeguards you can apply to help your kids and grandkids flourish in this crazy world they now have to live in.
- Then, we have three (YES THREE!) upcoming CHA National Assembly calls packed into the next month. In these calls we will be interviewing a broad spectrum of fascinating women, each of whom are leading experts in their fields of healthcare and alternative medical practice, and who are all excited to share their knowledge and experience with us to enable us to take better control of our own personal health and well-being.
- And lastly, we are working on our next CHA Annual General Meeting, which we would like to invite you to attend either in person (as part of the SelfCare is Healthcare retreat conference) or online.
You can find all the details for these upcoming events, including Shirley Guertin’s next Homeopathy course, either below in this newsletter, or on the Events page of our new CHA website, at: https://canadahealthalliance.org/events/
And that is exactly what it is all about:-Sharing our collective knowledge and experience to enable us all to take better control of our own personal health and well-being and the health and well-being of those around us.
Thank you, and please let me know what you think of the new website, especially once you have set up your paid member profiles on the site (again you can find the details of this below…).
See you soon in Cheakamus!
Alan Brough
CHA Executive Director – alan.brough@canadahealthalliance.org

Quote of the Week
“The greatest discovery of all time is that you can change your life by changing your thoughts.
It is never too late to be what you might have been, to become who you want to be. No, it is never too late, while you can never go back and create a new beginning it is never too late to begin to create a new ending.
It is exciting to realize that each one of us, every day, has the opportunity to create the beginning of a new self. The self we want to be.”
Johan V Campbell
Wins of the Week
Although it has been a dramatic week with the headlines being dominated by things like the cartel violence in Mexico and the drama of former “Prince” Andrew’s arrest amongst all the rest of the Epstein files fall-out, on our side, we continue to notch up many wins. Whilst they are largely unreported and unacknowledged, they are making a difference and slowly but surely moving things in our long-term favour…
- Alberta Premier Danielle Smith has recently announced that the province will hold a major referendum this October. The objective is to seek several mandates from its citizens. These include pursuing sweeping changes on immigration, asking if Albertans agree to abolish the Senate, and that provinces, not Ottawa, should select justices for provincial courts of King’s Bench and appeals courts. It will also ask Albertans if they agree that provinces should be permitted to opt out of federal health, education, and social services programs without losing federal funding. If approved this referendum could lead to much more provincial control over, specifically, health and education, and this would certainly be a win for many of us across the country.
- Earlier this week, Dr Harvey Risch, who was appointed as Chair of the President’s Cancer Panel by President Donald Trump in November 2025, has reached out to our friend Ted Kuntz, President of Vaccine Choice Canada and the Chair of the National Citizens Inquiry. He was asking for evidence collected by the NCI for or against any potential cancer implications of what happened during the Covid-19 pandemic. Considering that the NCI is now recognized as having the largest archive of sworn testimony on the impact of Covid-19, it is wonderful to see recognition of the NCI by this prestigious and influential organization.
- A majority of American voters across both sides of the political aisle, say immunity for pharmaceutical firms should be removed in cases where the companies’ vaccines caused injuries, according to a new poll. 60% of voters responding to the poll agreed that vaccine manufacturers should be stripped of immunity in such cases, including 33% who strongly backed withdrawing the immunity. Majorities across all age groups, genders, and races also supported the immunity abolishment. Just 27.5% of respondents did not think the immunity should end, while 12.6% of respondents said they were not sure. The survey was carried out by Big Data Poll for the 1776 Law Center. “Few single issues enjoy more support across every group of Americans than ending all immunity for Big Pharma,” Robert Barnes, the civil rights and criminal defense attorney who heads the law centre, said in a statement.
- The US Coast Guard reinstated 56 service members who were discharged for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced Tuesday. US Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said the members will receive back pay and their records will reflect no break in service. “This is a victory for religious, personal, and medical freedom for all Americans — both in and out of uniform,” Noem said in a statement. She called the Biden administration’s vaccine mandate “unconstitutional, un-American, and a gross violation of personal freedom.” President Donald Trump is “righting these wrongs,” she said.
- On Wednesday, five organizations in the United States, including Children’s Health Defense, launched the COVID Justice Resolution to demand accountability for the excesses of the Covid-era mandates and ensure their government never again uses a public health emergency to violate Americans’ constitutional rights. The campaign includes a petition asking the US Senate to adopt a COVID Justice Resolution. See https://covidjustice.org. Hopefully this will be something we can initiate here in Canada, presumably once we have a change of Federal government…
- In a watershed moment that should send shockwaves across the Atlantic, on Monday University College London agreed to pay £21 million to settle a lawsuit brought by 6,500 former students who claimed their education was gutted by Covid closures — cancelled lectures, substandard Zoom teaching, locked libraries and labs. And this is just the beginning. Lawyers are now pursuing 36 other UK universities on behalf of 194,000 claimants. If successful, the total payout for Britain’s higher education sector could run into hundreds of millions of pounds. Canadian and American students were failed at every level of their education. The question is: who will hold their institutions — from school boards to university presidents — accountable for what they took from an entire generation? The precedent is now set. The wave is coming. And if you’re a college student, a graduate, or a parent who watched your child’s education collapse behind a screen — you should be asking very loudly: Where and when is our reckoning?
- Also on Monday, United States Representatives Thomas Massie and Chellie Pingree introduced the No Immunity for Glyphosate Act in response to President Donald Trump’s very questionable executive order boosting domestic glyphosate production and shielding manufacturers from liability. The bipartisan bill would block federal funding for the order and reaffirm the right of individuals to sue chemical companies for health issues related to glyphosate.
- Wealth management giant Goldman Sachs plans to abandon “diversity” criteria for board membership, representing one of the biggest departures yet from the so-called “wokening” of corporate America. The Wall Street Journal reports that Goldman has quietly agreed to a request from the National Legal and Policy Center to drop other “demographics,” which include race, “gender identity,” ethnicity, and “sexual orientation” from its criteria for selecting candidates for its board’s governance committee. The plans are expected to be officially finalized sometime this month. It is a joy to watch the return of good old common sense, and although we still have a long way to go, sanity appears to be making a real come-back!
- The Trump administration said last Friday that it backs a 10-year deadline for most cities and towns to replace their harmful lead pipes, giving notice that it will support a tough rule approved under the Biden administration to reduce lead in drinking water.
- Hepatitis B vaccination rates among US newborns have fallen by more than 10 percentage points over the past 2 years, reversing 6 years of steady gains, according to an analysis of electronic health records that was published in JAMA (the Journal of the American Medical Association) earlier this month.
If you have any personal, local or national wins that you think we should share and celebrate please email then to me at alan.brough@canadahealthalliance.org

The Dangers Of Social Media On Developing Minds
Following up on the above theme of ‘What’s Wrong With Kids Today?’ earlier this week, Jonathan Otto noted that for years we’ve been told that social media platforms are simply neutral tools that are just a fun place for people to share photos and connect with friends. The common assumption has been that the impact depends largely on how they’re used.
However, that assumption was questioned in a very public setting when Mark Zuckerberg took the stand in a Los Angeles courtroom for the first of more than 1,500 cases examining whether Instagram’s design contributed to excessive – addictive – use among children and teens.
And this time it wasn’t media commentary. It was sworn testimony!
The case centres on a young woman who began using the platform at age 9. By 16, she was reportedly spending up to 16 hours a day on the app. During questioning, internal emails from 2015 were referenced that discussed increasing teen “time spent” in response to a declining usage trend. When engagement is measured in hours (especially to the excessive level of 16 hours per day, which is pretty much every single waking moment!), it naturally raises questions about how platforms are designed to hold attention.
As Leah Crowell will explain in her CHA Training Session on March 18th, the adolescent brain is particularly sensitive to reward patterns, novelty, and social validation. Although this doesn’t mean technology is inherently harmful, it does suggest that design choices matter, especially when there is an intention to leverage these elements of social validation to promote addiction.
Another aspect that Leah will discuss is that protection doesn’t begin in a courtroom or with the relevant authorities. Instead it should always begin at home… with informed conversations, thoughtful boundaries and a sincere, respectful supporting of our children’s mental and emotional resilience before potentially negative habits become deeply ingrained.

Children’s Health Defense has reported on this case and Mark Zuckerberg’s testimony including a detailed summary of the internal communications that were presented in court earlier this week. Now That Our New Website Has Been Launched, What Are The Next Steps?
As mentioned in last week’s newsletter, on Tuesday we did a ‘soft launch’ of our new CHA website to test it out and make sure it was all working as planned, especially features like our new online payment gateway, our interactive events calendar and our new, updated newsletter and article archives.
If you haven’t already checked out the new website you can browse through it at: https://canadahealthalliance.org
The launch went well and the new programming will now properly automate our membership database which means you will get regular reminders about membership renewals etc, which many of you have requested for some time.
Over the next few days, we will be emailing all our paid members inviting them to set up their member profiles on the website, and we will be sending them user ID’s that will be required to update their password.
If you are a paid member of CHA we would encourage you to set up your member profile as soon as you get your personal user ID to set up your password (it only takes two minutes so is very quick and easy to do). This will give you unrestricted access to EVERYTHING on the website and all the newsletter and article archives, some of which may be restricted to the general public. Plus, it will give you preferential discounted member pricing on training courses and other paid events such as our SelfCare is Healthcare retreat conference in April.
If you have any trouble with setting up your member account please email us at info@canadahealthalliance.org with ‘Website issue’ in the subject line.

PROJECT ARTICHOKE:
Yes It Is True, Right Back In The 1950’s The CIA Planned to Influence Our Minds & Moods Through Vaccines!
Like so many of you reading this, I have long been suspicious of anything ‘those in authority’ have tried to impose upon me “for my own good.” Experience has shown us, time and time again, that it is hardly ever for YOUR own good, but moreso THEIR own good, be it power, influence, control or good old financial gain.
This all came to a head in early 2021 when we were all panicked into lining up for ‘their’ Covid vaccines that were apparently going to save us all. Yet for those of us who were able to maintain clear heads in that Time of Madness, what we were being told, and the justification for blindly injecting ourselves with an unknown ‘experimental’ treatment just didn’t add up.
But by stepping out of the line and removing ourselves from the frenzy, we became targets of peer pressure, and, in many cases, blatant bullying and irrational mob witch-hunts. What was the most hurtful, and now for many the hardest to forget, is how our close family members turned their backs on us and called us crazy and dangerous conspiracy theorists who were going to “kill grandma” by our selfishness.
Well, as it turns out, history has once again proven that we were not so crazy after all, and that our concerns were indeed very valid.
Every day we read more reports and research findings on just how damaging those mRNA shots were, but so far there have been few who are calling it out as an intentional assault on humanity.
However, a recent report by Stacy Liberatore in the Daily Mail, and by Michael Nevradakis, Ph.D. in the Defender is beginning to change this. Referencing an old declassified document from 1952, they reveal the CIA’s involvement in using vaccines as a delivery mechanism to “manipulate Americans’ minds through covert drugging with vaccines.”
According to Nevradakis in his article that was published in the Defender on Tuesday:
“In the 1950s, the CIA brainstormed ways to secretly perform mind control on humans — including concealing drugs in vaccines and widely consumed food products,” a newly unearthed CIA document revealed. The Daily Mail first reported the story on Monday.
The seven-page document (which you can download with the link below) is titled “Special Research for Artichoke,” and is dated April 23, 1952. It describes a series of ideas for how to develop chemicals designed to alter human behaviour and thought. The proposals contained in the document were part of the CIA’s top-secret Project Artichoke, which ran from 1951 to 1956, according to The Daily Mail.
The document, declassified in 1983, recently circulated on social media. However, it was not published in the CIA’s online reading room until last year. “Some of the suggestions are controversial,” the document states. The proposals included administering drugs in secret as part of a “long-range approach to subjects.”
According to the document: “This study should include chemicals or drugs that can effectively be concealed in common items such as food, water, coca cola, beer, liquor, cigarettes, etc. This type of drug should also be capable of use in standard medical treatments such as vaccinations, shots, etc.”
