Executive Director’s Message

As we ponder the challenge of ‘healing the world’ it seems to be impossible given the extent of the unimaginable darkness that we are now getting a peak of behind the Epstein curtain.

So how do we even start to address this and weed the systemic corruption out of the world we want our children and grandchildren to grown u

I follow the Society of Problem Solvers, and they believe the best way to decapitate corruption is to establish decentralized systems of politics and business, and this makes a lot of sense. As they explain:

“Most of the systems of our world are centralized (top-down) systems, which means they are fairly easy to corrupt. In a centralized system, if you corrupt the head – leader, boss, president, king, CEO, representative, board of directors, or top of the system -then you effectively corrupt the whole thing. The simple rule is this: the fewer people that have the power, the easier the system is to corrupt. If a system has one all-powerful ruler, all you need to do is corrupt that one person.

So the way we can fix this is to build a new, upgraded system for humanity to operate on – one that is hard to corrupt, decentralized, transparent, and above all gets real results.”

Now this is fine in theory, but will no doubt be difficult and time consuming to put into practice, and I for one don’t want to wait for someone else to take their time fixing a problem which is threatening us all right now.

Hence, to start the process I think we each need to recommit to simple, basic morality, and we make that the solid foundation to build our future civilization upon.

We see the need for this – and just how far we have strayed from basic morals and ethics – in the headlines almost every day. Even in the healthcare industry, which is foundered on the Hippocratic principle of “First do no harm” we seem to be seriously straying: In the United States Frank Bergman has recently reported that, “medical professionals are openly turning on President Donald Trump and his supporters, with some vowing to deny medical care based on politics, while others brazenly promote ideas that could physically harm federal agents.”

To me this is indicative of the corruption and manipulation of not just our battered healthcare system, but our civilization as a whole and it reveals just how far we have fallen from our once lofty pledge to “help all in need, irrespective of who they are.”

Now is the time that we each need to become role models of higher morals and ethics and encourage those around us to do the same. And this issue of ‘those around us’ is important too. As it says in the first book of Corinthians chapter 15 verse 33, “Bad company corrupts good morals.”

Then once we have applied ourselves to be of the highest ethical standard we can, and keep similar company, we can then start to heal the leveraged divisions throughout our society. This will ensure that when we start to establish a truly decentralized social management system, that it will be fair, just and compassionate.

While we obviously have a long way to go, now is the time that we need start – at least – going in the right direction, and judging by the contents of the Epstein files, it has obviously been a while since we did that!

Sincerely,

Alan Brough

Quote of the Week

“Epstein was not simply a criminal operating in the shadows. His connections spanned presidents, intelligence agencies, billionaires, royalty, and the highest corridors of academia and global finance.

These relationships were not incidental. They expose a ruling class sustained not by merit or transparency, but by leverage, compromise, and mutual protection.

The question is not merely what Epstein did, but why so many powerful figures were intertwined with him, and why accountability has proven so elusive.

The scandal is a window into the collapse of liberal democracy itself: a system no longer governed by moral principle but managed by elite networks insulated from public scrutiny. Media complicity, institutional silence, and the normalization of evil are not bugs, they are features of a structure built to protect itself.

Ultimately, the political crisis cannot be separated from the spiritual one.

The Epstein files are not an aberration. They are the logical end of a world that has abandoned truth.”

Frank Wright

Wins of the Week

Last week we had our longest list of ‘Wins’ ever, and every week I try to remind everyone that there are a lot more wins happening out there than we are aware of, and the more you look for them the more you find! I was reminded of this again earlier this week when reading the latest email update from our friends at the Brownstone Institute in which they said…

“It’s wonderful madness out there! Looking back, the Covid response was the apotheosis of state planning. It failed so badly that the whole of scientific planning as we know it is being taken down. That’s glorious. Consider:

  • 330,000 federal bureaucrats in the United States are now fired, resigned, or retired, bringing government employment to lows not seen since 1966.
  • The Trump administration just repealed the “endangerment finding” such that “climate change” as an excuse to manage the world is effectively defunct.
  • You can now search millions of HHS records on Medicare to discover fraud; the problem was so huge that DOGE has outsourced its efforts.
  • The Epstein files release gives everyone with a laptop a tool to discover a shadowy world of overclass decadence and corruption.
  • The childhood immunization schedule is being trimmed while Rand Paul is pushing to end liability protections for the vaccine industry.
  • The FDA just told Moderna to take a hike: the agency will not consider approval of the latest mRNA injection.

Do you see the pattern here? It’s all about dethroning the elite institutions and intellectuals who wrecked the world as we know it. Their schemes are all unraveling in real time.”

What a time to be alive! In addition to the above, I am happy to share with you the following…

    1. Finally, after years of argument, the Supreme Court of Canada released a major decision this week in the Taylor v. Canada case, siding with the Canadian Constitution Foundation (CCF) and affirming that section 6 of the Charter protects a broad constitutional right to travel freely between provinces, even during times of crisis. The case arose after Nova Scotia resident Kimberley Taylor was denied entry into Newfoundland in 2020 to attend her mother’s funeral due to Newfoundland’s Covid-19 travel restrictions at the time. At the Supreme Court, the CCF argued that governments cannot simply disregard Canadians’ right to move freely about their own country. The Supreme Court rejected the Newfoundland government’s claim that no general right to interprovincial movement exists, deciding that the Charter’s mobility rights must be considered, even in times of crisis.
    2. Bayer announced this week that its Monsanto chemical subsidiary has proposed a $7.25 billion settlement to resolve lawsuits by customers alleging that its Roundup weed killer product caused non-Hodgkin lymphoma. If the settlement wins court approval, Monsanto would make annual payments for up to 21 years. Bayer said in a statement that the agreement does not include any admission of liability or wrongdoing. Bayer has faced thousands of lawsuits linked to Roundup since it bought Monsanto in 2018 for $63 billion. In 2020, Bayer announced it would pay up to $10.9 billion to settle some 125,000 filed and unfiled claims. Although it is a win that Bayer is having to face these claims and part with cash in the process, it is still very concerning that Roundup is still available for sale online and from major retailers here in Canada.
    3. The New York Times ran a story this week headlined, “Vaccine Makers Curtail Research and Cut Jobs.” The sub-headline was: RFK’s policies have “sent a chill through the entire industry.” They claim that Moderna is pulling back on vaccine studies after Secretary Kennedy nixed all its mRNA grants. Moderna’s stock has cratered more than 90% from its August 2021 peak— erasing roughly $180 billion in market value. The company laid off over 800 workers, lost $700 million in bird-flu contracts after the administration canceled them, and shelved vaccines for herpes, shingles, and chickenpox.  Last week, the FDA refused to even review Moderna’s mRNA flu vaccine. To read more on this story see: https://www.coffeeandcovid.com/p/curtailed-tuesday-february-17-2026
    4. On February 11, US Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) introduced legislation to end the liability shield for vaccine manufacturers and allow people injured by a vaccine, especially the Covid vaccine, to sue the drug’s manufacturer. The bill also strips away the immunity shield for makers and providers of COVID-19 vaccines, established under the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness (PREP) Act. The bill, currently known as ‘The End the Vaccine Carveout Act’ would amend the PREP Act by excluding COVID-19 vaccines from the definition of “covered countermeasures.” While just having this Bill proposed is a win, sadly Johnson himself admits that it has little chance of passing due to “the religious-like faith in vaccines combined with the financial power of Big Pharma.” However, recent polling suggests that most Americans support ending the vaccine manufacturers’ liability shield, according to MAHA Action President Tony Lyons. On February 11th, Lyons said that polling results gathered by Fabrizio, Lee and Associates, showed that removing the vaccine liability shield is “overwhelmingly popular among Republicans, Democrats, and Independents.”
    5. Republican Congressman Greg Steube has recently proposed Bill H.R. 7452 known as ‘The Air Quality Act.’ If passed this Bill would prohibit any sort of weather modification, including ‘chem-trails’ within the United States. It also includes a provision to establish: 1) “a system for air carriers to report the location and movement of any aircraft equipped with any component, device, or the like which may be used to support weather modification.” And 2) “a system for the public to report suspected violations.” Given all the weird weather we have been having here in Canada over the last few months and years, let’s hope this Bill is passed as quickly as possible and is then applied to us up here in the Great White North.
    6. The US Federal Aviation Administration is issuing a new mandatory rule that requires all commercial airlines in the country to formally commit to merit-based hiring for pilots, according to a February 13 statement from the Department of Transportation. Under the new mandate, all US carriers must certify that the practice of airlines hiring based on race and sex has ended. “The American people don’t care what their pilot looks like or their gender—they just care that they are [the] most qualified man or woman for the job.” DOT Secretary Sean P. Duffy said. The action follows President Donald Trump’s executive order on Ending Illegal Discrimination and Restoring Merit-Based Opportunity.
    7. Last weekend in the United Kingdom, Nigel Farage’s Reform Party won a Supreme Court ruling against the ruling Labour Party who, in the face of their extreme unpopularity, are trying to cancel municipal elections for the second year in a row! The case was hailed as a defence of democracy and the right to vote, and will no doubt generate a great deal of additional appreciation and support for Reform.
    8. Last Friday the  EU Parliament voted on an amendment to the resolution stating that “only biological women can become pregnant.” In a shocking vote against logic and common sense, the amendment was defeated with 200 votes in favour, 233 against, with 107 abstentions. While this is obviously not a win, the win is in the massive public outcry over this illogical vote that really shows just how woke the EU political system has become. Euro-skeptic German MEP Tomasz Froelich from the Alternative for Germany called the European Parliament a “madhouse.” No doubt he is right.

What Makes Us See The Truth When So Many Others Are Falling For The Lies?

Inspired by John Leake’s article ‘Why Do Some See Clearly When So Many Are Asleep?’ as published on his Focal Points substack

When growing up, I was always curious about what was really going on, and what the truth was behind the ‘facts’ that we were being taught at school, which seemed to be so impervious to new discoveries and evidence to the contrary.

I remember in my early teens reading books from the funky fringe by the likes of Erich von Däniken (who has died less than six weeks ago now), Carlos Castaneda (who once said, “the best of us always comes out when we are up against the wall” – so true), Pauwels & Bergier (who wrote ‘The Morning of the Magicians’), Lyall Watson (who wrote ‘Supernature’), and Peter Tompkins who wrote the 1973 classic ‘The Secret Life of Plants.’ It was that book which really got me wondering why such well researched and well referenced information which was opening up a whole new field of scientific study, was not being taught in school.

I concluded that it was just a matter of time, and that soon curriculums would be updated to expand the awareness and consciousness of the next generation of classroom kids.

Well I am still waiting for that to happen!

Meanwhile, all those incredible books are now forgotten and lost in dusty boxes on the bottom shelf of dingy old second-hand bookstores. Yet, in their time, they helped me realize that what we are fed by school curricula and newspaper headlines is just what ‘the system’ wants us to believe, not what the real truth is. And so grew my skepticism and my suspicion, which has only become stronger since I migrated to the West and realized how much further down the indoctrination path the hallowed ‘First World’ really is.

But I often wonder why, from such an early age, I didn’t buy the narrative?

And it happened for so many of us again in 2020 when we were told to panic and go and hide in our rooms because we were all going to die. It sounds so ludicrous now, but that is exactly what happened. Yet some of us (and more than we realized at the time) just didn’t buy it. We watched, we considered, and even if we grudgingly put on a mask, we knew it was illogical.

John Leake asks in one of his latest posts, “Why did a small minority of people quickly perceive all the anomalies and implausibilities of what we were being told by our government, while the majority were apparently unable to spot the lies we were being told?”

In response to this, Leake references the 19th century French philosopher, Henri Bergson, who is famous for his reflections about consciousness. On this topic of intuitive awareness, Bergson once said;

“Fortunately, some are born with a spiritual immune system that sooner or later rejects the illusory worldview that was grafted onto them from birth through social conditioning. They begin to sense that something is not right and search for answers. Inner knowledge and anomalous external experiences reveal to them a side of reality that others do not perceive, and thus begins their journey of awakening. Every step on this journey is taken by following the heart instead of the crowd, and by choosing knowledge rather than the veil of ignorance.”

Remarkable this was written more than a hundred years ago, as Leake points out, when he says; “The idea of an individual “awakening” is ancient, and it captures the idea that most of the time our minds are in a somnambulant state, probably because active thinking requires an enormous amount of energy.

The human brain is heavily tilted toward doing and thinking the same repetitive patterns, apparently from the natural selective mechanism that if we are still alive, we must be doing something right, while changing the behavioural pattern could be hazardous.

This is apparently why we have such a strong tendency to choose what is familiar, even if what is familiar is foolish and inimical to flourishing and well-being.”

So is that evolutionary view of why some people are set apart to always ‘take the path less travelled’ and to explore reality and ‘the truth’ for themselves, not matter how loudly ‘the herd’ tells them they are wrong, right?

Personally I’m not so sure. I feel there is something deeper to it. Something like a knowing or a sixth sense that we are able to ‘feel’ what is right and wrong, what is safe and what is dangerous, what is truth and what is a lie…

Since those tumultuous days of 2020 and 2021, I have spoken to hundreds of people who have said the same. They just knew that the official narrative didn’t add up and quietly stepped into the sidelines to see what was going to happen. It was a tangible sensation and they knew without doubt that they shouldn’t participate, even though at the time there seemed to be no logic to that ‘feeling.’

Now, what I have also noticed with those many, many people I have spoken to is that there is an immediate ‘click’, a type of camaraderie and a sense of connection through this ‘like-mindedness.’ Again, it is as if those who, in John Leake’s words, “see clearly” somehow have greater intuition and perception that bonds them across all the usual racial, language and religious differences which have been used so effectively in the past to divide us.

Maybe we are finally ‘finding our tribe’ and the development of these spiritual connections or psychic abilities are what humanity needs to make the next evolutionary step towards becoming true ‘children of the stars’…?

Who knows, but I think maybe we are indeed here for a reason…

The Dark Secrets of Johnson & Johnson’s Deadly, Illegal Activities

By Alan Cassels, as published by the Brownstone Institute

I imagine myself facing a skill-testing question, on a topic I know a lot about, prescription drugs: Which American pharmaceutical company holds the record for the most criminal and civil penalties related to illegal marketing and fraud?

I guess, hmm, maybe Pfizer? I say that because I remember a US judge once called Pfizer a “recidivist” organization that routinely breaks the law, pays fines, and then goes out to break the law some more.

Pfizer’s $2.3 billion fine (the largest health-care fraud settlement in history) for marketing drugs for off-label purposes, is only slightly more than Johnson & Johnson’s settlement of $2.2  billion for illegal marketing of Risperdal and related drugs.

However, the overall winner of the highest volume of criminal or civil penalties for deceptive marketing, kickbacks, fraud against public health programs, and ripping off Medicare/Medicaid, goes to that American of all companies, Johnson & Johnson.

J&J has paid an estimated $8.5 billion in marketing-related penalties across multiple cases, tied to illegal promotions, fraud, deceptive marketing and Pfizer is a distant second at $3.4 billion.

It helps to remember those fines are only paid after they get caught, mostly in cases that have woven their way through an obstacle course of delay, obfuscation, negotiation, secret settlements, and sometimes excruciating waits by patients and families hoping for some recognition and compensation for the death or injuries experienced by their loved ones.

Why is this relevant? Because the second biggest thing drug companies should be known for, after developing and marketing blockbuster drugs, is crime: committing it, trying to avoid punishment, and then only when forced to, paying for it. Those massive legal costs, of course, are ultimately paid by you, the pill-consuming public.

Johnson & Johnson’s famous and well-respected reputation, built on iconic blockbuster brands such as Tylenol, Band-Aids, Baby Powder, and Baby Shampoo comes under direct fire in Gardiner Harris’s excellent book No More Tears: The Dark Secrets of Johnson & Johnson (which is our Book of the Week, see the profile on it below…).

In it he points out how all major pharmaceutical companies spend substantial amounts of money to defend themselves against litigation, partly because their constant and inventive levels of lawbreaking are an essential part of their business model. Between 2010 and 2021 J&J spent $25 billion on litigation, a number that is likely higher than that any other company in the Fortune 500.

A company this big and this powerful eventually skews how law is actually practiced in the US, and helps explain why so many drug companies find it more rewarding for their shareholders to break the law than to follow it.

Harris’s point is crystal clear: both the legal and the drug regulatory systems in the US are in need of deep reform and he doesn’t mince words when he writes: “For all intents and purposes, Johnson & Johnson is a criminal enterprise…And if one of the most admired corporations in the world is in reality a criminal enterprise and a killing machine, what else are we missing? How many other killers are out there?”

The “dark secrets” of Johnson & Johnson are a litany of jaw-dropping misdeeds: willfully marketing asbestos-laced baby powder, glossing over the well-studied dangers of the most swallowed drug in human history (Tylenol—also known as acetaminophen or paracetamol), egregiously marketing the antipsychotic drug Risperdal (risperidone) to demented people (despite warnings that it would increase death rates in those people) and children (causing boys to grow breasts and lactate).

On top of this, their marketing of the opioid Duragesic (fentanyl transdermal patch) and their outsized role in the opioid epidemic across much of North America means that many of the unnecessary thousands of overdose deaths could be laid at their feet.

In case after case of J&J’s checkered history, replete with criminality and disturbing abuses of authority, law and human ethics, profit comes first. If vulnerable patients suffer and die, that’s simply the cost of doing business.

Harris’s prescriptions for reform as he concludes No More Tears have been heard many times and are worth repeating. The FDA must eliminate the dark money from drug regulation, and start treating the American Public as its client, not the drug companies.

It should crack down on prohibiting physicians from taking money or gifts from pharmaceutical companies while treating patients, banning continuing medical education funded by drug companies, and switching to a system where the US taxpayers (and not the drug companies) pay the bill for regulating and approving drugs.

His final critique is hardly radical: Until we stop allowing dirty money to write the rules of drug approval, marketing, and prescribing, our system will only continue to encourage big pharmaceutical companies, like Johnson & Johnson to kill, pay fines, and go forth to kill again.

Book of the Week

No More Tears: The Dark Secrets of Johnson & Johnson

By Gardiner Harris

Gardiner Harris’s new book, “No More Tears: The Dark Secrets of Johnson & Johnson,” is scarier than any horror movie you’ll see this year!

In it, Harris exposes how Johnson & Johnson protected its family-friendly image while using “bribes, kickbacks, and lies to the FDA” to push its products, as he tracks the tens of billions the company has spent on settlements and litigation.

Harris takes us light-years away from the company’s image as the child-friendly “baby company” as he uncovers reams of evidence showing decades of deceitful and dangerous corporate practices that have threatened the lives of millions. He covers multiple disasters: lies and cover-ups regarding the link of Johnson’s Baby Powder to cancer, the surprising dangers of Tylenol, a criminal campaign to sell antipsychotics that have cost countless lives, a popular drug used to support cancer patients that actually increases the risk that cancer tumours will grow, and deceptive marketing that accelerated opioid addictions through their product Duragesic (fentanyl) that rival even those of the Sacklers and Purdue Pharma.

Filled with shocking and infuriating but utterly necessary revelations, No More Tears is a landmark work of investigative journalism that lays bare the deeply rooted corruption behind the image of babies bathing with a smile.

This book is available on Amazon in softback, hard back or as an audio-book at https://www.amazon.ca/No-More-Tears-Secrets-Johnson/dp/059322986X/ref=sr_1_1
