Executive Director’s Message

Well, here we are in that post-CHA Conference glow, and looking back on the SelfCare is Healthcare Retreat Conference that we held in Cheakamus last weekend, I am amazed at how successful it was.

Firstly I would like to sincerely thank our sponsors of the SelfCare is Healthcare Retreat Conference, who literally, with their generous support made the event happen. They were:

  1. Our GOLD sponsor, FREEDOM HEALTH
  2. Our SILVER sponsor, BOIRON
  3. Our BRONZE sponsors, VACCINE CHOICE CANADA and CANADIAN AGRI-BLEND INC.
  4. And of course our final sponsor FOCUSED LIFE-FORCE ENERGY (FLFE)

Thanks to these sponsors we had a great turn-out with almost 80 people in total, a fantastic line-up of diverse, yet highly informative and empowering presenters and perfect weather, all in an incredible ancient coast rain-forest setting. These magical ingredients all led to knowledge, motivation and, for almost all of us, new, likely life-long, friendships being formed. I have added a selection of some of the photos that we took for you below…

For me personally, I really appreciated the face-to-face connections and the real bonding which always takes so much longer to achieve through email or Zoom. My life has certainly been enriched through the many people I was privileged enough to spend time with this last weekend, and the beauty of it was that we were all focused on learning from the endless slate of presenters about how to take better control of our healthcare, through our SelfCare.
