Executive Director’s Message

Well we’re at the CHA SelfCare is Healthcare retreat conference!!

Yes, after intensive planning which has taken the better part of this last year, yesterday afternoon we started gathering at the Cheakamus Centre north of Vancouver. As it’s the first time many of us have met face-to-face, you can imagine there’s lots of excitement, animated conversation and hugs all round!

Yesterday evening, after the registration and cabin check-in we had our formal Welcome followed by the first opening presentations, being Dr. Stephen Malthouse’s ‘Homeopathy For Home’ and Lynda McLeod’s ReHumanization HeART Movement art exhibition and the first part of her art therapy workshop.

It was a fantastic evening and really reminded me of the joy of face-to-face connection and why it is so good for us in these challenging times.
