Executive Director’s Message

Good morning, here we are again with another edition of the Canada Health Alliance newsletter. A few weeks ago, I warned you that we were considering reducing the frequency of this newsletter to bi-weekly instead of weekly. At the time, we felt that the volume of information sharing every week was possibly a bit overwhelming and that we should focus instead on more unique video content for our social media channels.

However, so many of you emailed me and told me how much you appreciated the weekly newsletter, especially the Wins of the Week, that I’m now thinking of maybe doing a short ‘quick’ newsletter every second week. This will keep us in touch every week, celebrate the weekly Wins together and it will give me a bit more time to work on the cause of improving the health and wellbeing of those around us.

Well today’s edition was supposed to be just that: Short and sharp! But, as you know, I am a writer and I love to connect with you, so today’s ‘abridged’ newsletter is pretty much the same as usual! Yet comes with a MASSIVE list of Wins which I hope you will appreciate.

These wins are very important to keep us hopeful, grounded and confident that positive change is coming and, for all the doom and gloom headlines, better days are just around the corner. It is the old story of the darkest hours being just before the dawn.
